Youssef Chihab
Youssef began his career as a Professional Soccer player in Europe, but his love and passion for
hospitality, brought him to the hotel and restaurant business. He soon found him self working at the
renowned Four Seasons Hotel in New York City. Youssef eventually headed west, were he finally settled in Denver.
Youssef's customer oriented management style has lead to his success as the General Manager of Zink Kitchen + Bar at the Doubletree Hotel Denver Tech in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
His recent endeavors included the General Manager of Mel's Restaurant a Colorado legend for over 30 years. Previously Youssef was the marketing director at Venice Restaurant and Wine Bar in Lodo.
Paul Nagan
Culinary Artist and Food & Beverage expert, has been appointed as the Executive Chef of the Doubletree Hotel Denver Tech in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Most recently, Paul was the Consulting Chef responsible for Menu Development, Design and opening of the Hard Rock Hotel Gas Lamp District in San Diego, California. Grand Opening Parties for the Hard Rock Hotel included Gala Events for Cindy Crawford, Robert De Niro and many other noted celebrities; for which Chef Paul orchestrated.
His reputation for creating exciting menus and signature dishes for establishments such as the Denver Renaissance Hotel. As Executive Chef, Chef Nagan also had tenures at several Marriott Hotels including the Four Star/Four Diamond San Mateo Marriott & Convention Center, Portland Downtown Waterfront, as well as the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.
A Culinary graduate, with honors, from Johnson & Wales University, Nagan also has a Bachelors Degree Economics & Business from Iowa’s Cornell College. Just a few of Chef’s Awards and Accolades are the Colorado Taste of Excellence Competition and the National Taste of Elegance Competition of San Diego.
His cuisine, though light and simple, are truly visual masterpieces using spectacular color contrasts and textures to bring each dish created to life. Paul’s cuisine is defined as Global Eclectic with Colorado Flair.
At 38 Paul has provided continuous off-premise catering for dignitaries, politicians and entertainers at numerous affairs. In 1997 while at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort, Chef Paul hosted several charity fundraiser events that included guests such as Jacque Pepin, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Vail’s Mayor.
Because of Chef Nagan’s rave reviews for his menu design and creativity; he was invited to participate in 2008's Kempe Foundation Alliance for Prevention & Treatment of Child Abuse. The Fourth Annual “Salt of the Rim” event was held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Kempe Center in Denver, Colorado. Executive Chef Paul Nagan featured samplings of two signature items, as tastes, from his Zink Menu at the Doubletree Hotel.
